Cesar Caballero
Born in Madrid at the end of the 60’s, he studied applied arts and artistic crafts in Madrid’s La Palma school.
Sharing the frantic life of Madrid’s youth during “La movida” he attended conferences, exhibitions, schools, universities, workshops as much as possible when not working to earn a living.
During this period he studied artistic drawing in San Fernando, engraving in Circulo de Belles Artes and artistic design in T.A.I.
He has always demonstrated a restless and experimental character and from an early age strived to get in contact with the other artists.
He ended up in Ibiza where he met well established painters with whom he explored different techniques and styles, some a little unorthodox, such as the overloading of industrial resins, the mixture of acids, photography and monotypes.
Whilst living in Barcelona he dedicated his time to the creation of murals and advertising works.
He at last got his paintings exhibited in Madrid and Valencia whilst still working in stage design and creation for various theatre, opera, cinema and TV productions.
He continued to pursue his feverish artistic activity in the world of art restoration, comics, advertising, engravings, interior design, theme party creation and garden design.
He was then introduced to the Parisian artistic world by his French wife’s family. His prolific activity has allowed him to sell in France as well as Spain.
In 2006 he moved to Manila with his family.
